To Blame Others is a Form of Escape: The symptom of a pattern to interrupt
One symptom of being stuck in a pattern is blaming others. When you blame other people, events, and circumstances for your situations, you are bound to continue to repeat your patterns. Blaming others is a form of escape. When you blame others, you are avoiding yourself and your responsibility toward your own life. You create a scapegoat and then feel free of any and all responsibility. It is an “easy out” in the short term, but has the power to keep you in self-denial, locked into your pattern.
