Interruptions come in many forms . . .

An amazing thing happens when we face challenges in our lives.  The world around us and within us opens up if we choose to allow it. We can shut down or interrupt that pattern and open up.   We are at our most vulnerable and humble space.  We are brought to consciousness and get as close to authentic as can be.   Openness is a common theme I recognize through this. The possible barriers of interaction are removed.  Love and support busts right through those walls.  We get the privilege of interacting with people we may never have otherwise.  We get to expose something in ourselves that someone may have never seen while learning so much about others we never knew and a connection is created.  A new understanding and compassion for others comes to the forefront and in many cases, new friendships.

If we keep our eyes and hearts open we see that what we are going through many times pales in comparison to what someone is or has gone through and we discover gratitude when before we may have felt sorry for ourselves.  We are paused for a moment in time where nothing else really matters and we get perspective.  We can think we are truly focused on the right things and the universe allows an experience like this to appear to remind us we can be a little bit better.  We come to accept and embrace that every experience is here to evolve our soul.  We get to choose to stand up and be an example of strength and leader of hope for those that need it.

We grow in the light and transform in the darkness.  May you recognize this and allow your dark moments to transform you to your highest self and in turn be a lighthouse for others.
