Karma –
What you put out into the world comes back to you. Whether or not we are aware of it, we all have a “Karmic Bank Account”. Some people experience what is called instant Karma . . . when we see almost immediately the return of the energy we put forward into the world. For others, it is very random, something hits us out of left field and when we wonder:
- why me?
- why this?
- why now?
Perhaps years ago you poured your negative energy into the world, acted without integrity and you thought you got away with it. You forgot all about it! Now you are facing an injustice, experiencing a reality that you are sure you would not choose for yourself and yet, here it is showing up in your experience. You could choose to go into “victim mode” and complain “poor me” or “how unfair” etc. Or you could go a little deeper and ask yourself:
- where in my life have I administered this kind of energy?
- How can I navigate through this experience with humility, knowing that on some level my “playing card” is being divinely balanced?
- How can I accept this experience and pay back this karmic debt with grace?
As human beings we have free will, with free will we make our choices. We then become responsible for the choices we make while adding to or depleting our karmic bank account.
