Meditation –

It is important to meditate for 20 minutes each day, unless you are too busy, then you should meditate for an hour.

Developing a practice to facilitate inner stillness and awareness is essential to your health, well being, and connection to our soul. Like many other things, it is great in theory but difficult in practice. The difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Once you have made the commitment to spiritual growth you allocate the time of day, method(s), and 20 minute duration.

You must be diligent!

It is only with the repeated action of stillness that you are able to penetrate to your core.

Invariably we will create some distraction, reason or excuse to avoid our practice (the law of resistance). It is in those times, when we seek to escape our commitment to ourselves that we must increase the duration of our meditation, not as a punishment, but . . .

    • because we are resisting
    • because we want to escape
    • because we are ultimately avoiding ourselves
    • because we are on the precipice of a breakthrough
